TopGreens began on a quiet evening in Norway, where founders Terje Hausken and Theodor Lare set out to bring the magic of the golf course a little closer to home. What started as late night sketches and hands-on experiments soon grew into a passion project fueled by a deep love for the game. Every curve, contour, and bunker was meticulously designed to look authentic and play true—capturing the spirit of championship golf in a smaller, more personal form.

From those humble beginnings, TopGreens evolved into more than just a product. It became a symbol of craftsmanship, innovation, and the shared joy of golf—no matter where in the world you tee off.

In early 2025, Jeff Hollenbach, founder of SYNLawn of Ohio Valley, Jandson Inc. LLC, and The Artificial Turf Doctors, recognized the growing demand for these world-class greens in North America. Seeing the perfect match between precision engineering and professional turf expertise, he partnered with TopGreens to launch TopGreens USA—bringing European innovation to American backyards, clubs, and training facilities.

Today, this partnership continues to push boundaries, designing and refining putting greens that look stunning, perform flawlessly, and make every putt feel like a moment on tour.
